The Adobe Summit EMEA 2016 is set to take place 11–12 May 2016 in London, where thousands of marketers will come together from all across Europe to learn how you can combine creativity, content and data to create compelling experiences for your customers.
After the incredible success of last year’s Summit, I’m excited to, once again, have the privilege of managing the Marketing Innovations Track. Like last year, part of that responsibility is finding a group of talented individuals to present at the Summit who will inspire the audience and deliver insights that will help equip today’s marketers to carry their organisations into future marketing success.
Last year’s Summit featured a number of fantastic speakers and gave marketers much to think about in terms of where marketing is headed, how to face the challenges of a rapidly evolving market, and how brands can create exciting opportunities to better engage consumers. Emmanuel Vivier, Co-Founder of the HUB Institute, delivered a sobering presentation on the need for brands to adapt to the ever-expanding number of consumers who expect information to be accessible at their fingertips. Andi Gall, Chief Technology Officer of Red Bull Media House spoke about the power of connecting audiences emotionally to content and the role of big data in enhancing the experience.
Brian Solis focused much of his presentation on helping marketers think about the people they’re trying to reach. He encouraged brands to provide consumers with content that is relevant to their needs, an approach he calls “responsive storytelling.” Leadership expert Thomas Barta shared how marketers can become more influential in their organisations, offering the seemingly counterintuitive advice to become a “spark” rather than an expert. Other valuable speakers included Ajaz Ahmed, CEO of AKQA, Jez Frampton, CEO of Interbrand, Patrick Barwise, Emeritus Professor of Management and Marketing at London Business School, and Lucie Sarif, Head of Strategy and Planning at Lady Geek.
Spark Creativity and Drive Innovation I’m excited to fill the lineup of top-notch speakers for the Innovations Track of this year’s Summit, and that’s where I need your help. This year, speakers on the Marketing Innovations Track will have 40 minutes to inspire the audience, spark creativity, and drive innovation.
